Jolly Jumpers and Exco-Saucers!

It would appear that we are on the mend. To prove how sick and miserable Jaden really was, here's a shot of him from a couple of days ago...

But he's a lot happier these days however. Now, for a limited time only, the new and improved Jaden comes complete with Jolly Jumper and Exco-saucer!

We caught him on film playing in his Jumper for the first time. Sorry for the poor quality, it was a last-minute shot done with our regular camera.

Hey everyone,

Jaden and Daddy have been quite sick over the last week, so neither of us have been in what you might call a "picture-taking" mood. But here's a couple of neat shots from a week ago that I felt were worth posting.

We're On A Roll Baby!

So here's yet another bunch of pics plus a video! He was being so cute in the bath that Daddy just had to film it. Enjoy.

Baking Muffins

My first "baby sit" went off without a hitch. Mommy wanted to do some shopping while feeling some freedom. She even bought a coffee just because she could.

Jaden and I had a blast. His mandatory indoctrination of J.R.R. Tolkien's "Middle Earth" went quite swimmingly. I've also learned that he enjoys watching daddy play the guitar. I set him down in his crib and started playing/singing him some songs as he watched intently with the occasional smile.

He's slowly getting more and more confident in his own physiology. His neck muscles are developing well and he's preferring the whole sitting up thing much more than the alternative. The following picture is evidence of such.

Tough

My wife received a text message from a friend today bearing some extremely difficult news. We're praying for you guys, you know who you are. There's a lingering gloominess in our household as a result. We always hope for the best for our loved ones and no matter how many times our lives get thrown a curve ball, it never gets any easier.

Jaden was very photogenic tonight (my wife makes fun of the way I say that word) so we took a few shots and had some good laughs.

Am I smiling? Only I know the answer!

You are getting very sleepy. Soon you will all be under my control.

Jaden and Daddy's first (of many) hockey game together. And what a game, congrats Canada!

I honestly don't know if any of you are ready to observe the true majestic qualities of this next pinnacle achievement in amateur photography.

In fact, "majestic" just doesn't cut it. I dare say this photo will change the course of human history, turning mankind in a new direction.
